We've all been there.  It's dark, late, you're cold.  While heading downhill, you trip and fall down.  The big difference this time - more blood than you've ever seen leave your body.  The only time you've seen this much blood is when you've been processing your game - and you know it's not good.

Not sure how to save your own life?  We produced this guide to help out the hunting and outdoors community - prior preparation will help when the shit hits the fan and you need help!

In my time as a Search and Rescue medic in austere environments, I have picked up many hunters in my helicopter - some dead, some alive.  More often than not, those who died would have been saved by simple first aid.  I have written this guide to help reduce the numbers of deaths in the back country.
